Introduction
I’m a software engineer in Lucerne. I run Weblilo, a studio for websites and custom software, and I’m building WorkTool, a Windows workspace that keeps folders, apps and websites in one window
Most of my work starts with something more complicated than it needs to be: a process held together by email, a website nobody can update, a desktop full of windows that disappears after a restart. I look for the simpler shape underneath and then build it properly, from the interface down to the parts nobody sees
Running a studio and a product of my own means owning every decision, from the first conversation to deployment. It has made me careful about scope, clear about trade-offs and fond of software that is easy to maintain

A Windows workspace I'm building on my own. WorkTool holds folders, desktop apps and websites in one window with tabs, split views, floating notes and a command palette
Tabs and split views
One, two, stacked or four-pane layouts with resizable dividers and drag-to-move tabs, saved with the workspace
Desktop apps in tabs
Apps from the dock open inside a tab with their menus and keyboard input working. Closing the tab closes the app
Websites with their own sign-in
Each website runs in its own browser profile so sign-ins stay separate, with sign-in popups and downloads supported
Folders like File Explorer
Breadcrumbs, views, sorting, search, multi-select, Windows clipboard, Recycle Bin and Properties
Floating notes
Always-on-top notes that follow the WorkTool window and save as you type
Command palette
Ctrl K finds websites, apps, folders, tabs and actions. Ctrl P searches files across sidebar folders
